Today was the completion of my renovated house it is quite a change and it has become really beautiful. Of course we had to celebrate this with the people who worked really hard, I really have all the respect for the people. So I invited them to the KAERAH resto bar for a nice drink and sing together.

The house is completely ready except for a few small points that are completed at the handover and final inspection by me personally today all the devices were brought neatly, it was a whole truck full I can start decorating. I would like to thank all the employees once again for all the work they have done.

While waiting for my Filipino passport and completing the renovation work in my house, I had plenty of time to delve into the Filipino kitchen and it's great. Of course I don't know all those delicious dishes and I already got a few cooking lessons from a good friend of mine this time we made Sotanghon Quisado and it was delicious Sotanghon Guisado is a classic Filipino stir-fried noodle dish made with thin, translucent mung bean glass noodles (vermicelli), shredded chicken or pork, and assorted vegetables like carrots, cabbage, and wood ear mushrooms. It is typically seasoned with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and garlic, often featuring a distinct orange tint from annatto seeds.

Today I was invited by a friend to come and have a drink in honor of a birthday of a baby who had turned 1 year old this was celebrated in a beautiful location near the beach I really enjoyed it with my friends and had a great evening.

After passing typhoon Inday there are of course some small problems outside the water nuisance I have not had internet for a few days now but well there are worse things than no internet. They are busy restoring my internet connection hopefully they will find the right cable.

Today I took a scooter ride and visited a small village or also called a barancay here in the Philippines (A barangay is the smallest local government unit in the Philippines). It is similar to a village, neighborhood, or district. Every city and municipality is divided into one or more barangays) on the way back stopped in St Rita and had a delicious meal (Sotanghon quisado) in the only small restaurant that St Rita knows.

Yesterday early evening it started to rain heavily, and we got a tail from typhoon Inday who was on his way to Taiwan and Iloilo passed north, but not too little rain fell, with the result that low-lying parts of Oton were flooded, including the restaurant of my ate Karen. Of course I also went to see my house but there was nothing wrong there.

After I had arranged everything at the PRA (Philippines retirement Authority), I see my story in another chapter today, I fly back to Iloilo unfortunately as often a delay of 2 hours (Air Asia) but okay as a pensioner I have all the time.

Today we went to the local market in Oton and you can buy anything. Especially if you are looking for fresh fish, fruit and vegetables at very reasonable prices compared to the local supermarkets. My good friend Inday also works there in a fruit stall so I visited her and was offered a delicious batchoy soup, a very well-known dish from the La Lapaz district of Iloilo. Today I went to Iloili City to buy all my new tools to my surprise they also have the Stanley brand here in the Philippines it is a good brand so I went for this I could buy the vacuum cleaner from the same brand myself I found it funny when the house is ready I still have some work to do myself so good tools are never gone the prices here are huge with the Netherlands so I bought anything and everything.
