Today I was invited by my dear neighbors in Immaculate village for lunch and what a delicious grilled teat pig (also called lechon) and about delicious other dishes. All this to celebrate that my neighbor Kyle had passed her exam.

This morning 7:30 a.m. local time there was an earthquake in the province of Mindanao, an island that is a bit southerly compared to the island of Iloilo where I now live. I didn't notice anything myself, but I got messages from family and friends. I can tell you that everything is going well with me, so don't worry.

Today 3 air conditioners were delivered 2 for the bedrooms so that my friends and family can sleep well and 1 airo for the living room they will be installed soon.

Yesterday we enjoyed talking to the staff of the Kaerah resto bar, drinking and eating, of course, to get to know them better personally.

Today some stuff ordered from Shopee similar to Ali Express of course settled in Filipino pesos what a difference with the Netherlands here it costs a quarter compared to the Netherlands. Have also nice lunch and dinner with friends in the restaurant of my friend Kaerah resto bar.

Because the power is regularly broken under the well-known (brown out) because of maintenance work on Saturdays, I already bought a generator of 12.5 KW today so that if the power is interrupted, I can at least keep the air conditioning, refrigerator and lighting running. Transporting the store home was already an experience in itself, thank you Pol, Jason and Josh for your help.

Last Monday I requested my internet from pldt similar to the kpn in the Netherlands. This morning it was time for them to install it very quickly because sometimes it takes a very long time before there is action, which is quite normal in the Philippines, it does not happen today until the day after tomorrow or the next week. I have to say honestly I got an amazing speed 1441 mbps including free calls within Iloilo itself.

Today I had some time to take some pictures of my temporary stay here in Oton. This is also one of my friend Karen's houses I'm staying here until the renovation of my house is finished in Mary Immaculate village I'm expected to be able to move over at the end of July.

Today I went to the annual fiesta in Sta Rita and visited many of my good friends. The fiesta can be compared to a kind of family day of good food, drinks and karaoke singing and dancing.

Today, after a long journey of 33 hours, delicious food in the restaurant of my good friend Karen beef tapas and sisig pork.

I just arrived in Manila, the capital of the Philippines. I have already flown about 15 hours and went from Amsterdam to Istanbul Turkiya and from Istanbul to Manila. I have to wait a while for my flight to Iloilo and that is fortunately an hour's flight. Then I am picked up by a good friend and it is a half hour drive to Oton a nice village where I will live.
