Welcome back today 01-05-2026 they started the renovation of my house in Oton, Iloilo Philippines Stripping the entire house removing ceilings,wall tiles ect ect.

11-05-2026 Today I received new photos from my girlfriend and also architect and performer. They are busy completing the first phase. The stripping of the entire house shows that all windows and doors have now been removed.

12-05-2026 They started by bricking a door opening and 2 holes in the bedrooms where the old air conditioning was.

19-05-2026 Today I personally visited my house to see how far the renovation has already progressed. Temporarily I am in another house of my good friend Karen so that all the workers can do their thing. And they do a great job I was deeply impressed by the work done remember that at the moment temperatures are being reached around 40 degrees I have a lot of respect for these people.

1-6-2026 Let's take a look at my house again today. Meanwhile, the roof is fully insulated, slots made for the electrical pipes and there is a lot of brickwork and I also spoke to Gi Gi, the delivery is certainly before July 25th and I have full confidence in these people who work really hard with these high temperatures at the moment I have a lot of respect for that.

3-6-2026 today again to look they have started to install the ceiling and the first floor tiles are already in the living room all the window frames for the doors have been made and tried to make a chat from the 5 workers, 1 speaks a little English so then only cigarettes handed out but they work really well I am very satisfied with it.

13-6-2026 Today I went to look again in my house and there was hard work I counted 6 construction workers. Meanwhile, the entire floor with beautiful tiles is there and they have started with all the electricity pipes and a start has been made with my kitchen. It's amazing how neatly they work with this heat.

17-06-2026 Today I visited my house again with the executor. The people work very hard and very accurately, the kitchen and shower have already started. Together with the executor, a visit to City Hardware was also similar to the Gamma of Praxis in the Netherlands to find out all the paint colours.

18-06-2026 Today a start was made with tiling the walls and floor and the doors were placed in the bathroom after I had selected nice tiles myself. The man who had helped me in the construction market had not calculated the floor properly, so there were a shortage of tiles. So soon with GiGi my contractor and also architect back to the hardware store and tiles added.

22-06-2026 Today I went to look at my new house again to my great surprise, all the new windows were already in it and the shower room was almost completely tiled, it's going in the right direction.

27-6-2026 Today I went out with Gi Gi my architect to buy the latest construction supplies for the renovation of the house at Citi Hardware in Sambag. It was very pleasant shopping again and they are already busy with all the interior walls.

03-07-2026 Today I had another appointment with Gi Gi, my architect and also a performer. When I arrived at the house, a lot of workers were working hard to get everything ready for July 25. Living in a bamboo house for 2 months is fun, but then it keeps on many mosquitoes and frogs that sing throughout the evening and night. The house is already quite well on the ceilings there are almost done and the shower is almost ready and the kitchen and they are busy painting.
