Last Saturday, I celebrated my birthday in the Netherlands one last time with my family and friends. It was a wonderful, beautiful evening and night, a beautiful and cherished memory for later.

Today, the last day in Gdansk, I visited a beautiful church and climbed the tower—400 steps—but it was worth it.

The Teutonic Castle in Malbork (also known as Mariënburg Castle) is the largest castle in the world measured by land area and the largest brick structure in Europe. This huge medieval fortress, located in northern Poland, has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997.

I arrived in Gdansk in northern Poland yesterday. Today I enjoyed walking around and saw a lot.

Today I received my new drone, the DJI Air 3 S, an addition to my existing hobby. And since I will soon have a lot of free time in Oton my new home town I will certainly enjoy this drone and take beautiful photos and videos to post on my website.

I did some painting work yesterday and today. The time has come at the end of April: the handover of my house to the new resident. After that, I get to stay with my sister-in-law for two weeks, so I'm just tidying up my bedroom with a nice coat of paint.

Took a nice walk this evening and saw this beautiful sunset in my town Ulft.

Today I went to my pension administrator and as of April 1st I will officially take early retirement and enjoy in my second home country the Philippines. 

Like every year this beautiful Camillia plant blooms very early in the spring and also very early this year the lemon butterfly because the high temperature today.
